← The eight dimensions

Spiritual

Spiritual is the dimension that has no deadline, which is exactly why it goes last. It asks a quiet question — whether the life being run is the one you'd choose — and it needs unhurried time to be answered honestly.

What it covers

  • What you want this decade to have been about
  • Values, and whether the week reflects them
  • Stillness: practice, prayer, silence, nature
  • Contribution beyond yourself
  • The North Star, and how far the week has drifted from it

When it's flat

  • The week runs well and still feels like someone else's.
  • There's no unhurried time anywhere in it.
  • Big questions only arrive at 2am.
  • You could describe your goals but not your reasons.

None of this is a failing. It's a description of a dimension nobody has had time to design yet.

How to design a system here

  1. 01

    Write the North Star once

A sentence you'd stand behind. It won't be perfect — it only has to be honest enough to steer by.

  2. 02

    Protect one unhurried hour

No output, no phone, no purpose. Meaning does not arrive inside a full calendar.

  3. 03

    Check the drift, gently

Monthly, hold the week against the sentence. Naming the drift is the whole practice; correcting it is next season's work.

A season built here

Daily anchor

Ten quiet minutes, no screen.

Goals

  • A North Star written and kept visible
  • One unhurried hour each week, protected
  • A monthly check on the drift

Weekly rhythm

  • Sun The unhurried hour
  • Thu Read the North Star; note the drift

The system it leans on

Build a season around this

Everything above arrives as a suggestion. Keep what fits, rewrite the rest.
